Registering the worker on a Windows shop PC
===========================================

The worker must run every minute. Task Scheduler is used rather than a
service because a service that dies stays dead until someone notices,
while a scheduled task simply runs again next minute.

Run once, as Administrator, from the install folder:

    schtasks /Create /TN "Caresoft Counter Worker" ^
       /TR "\"C:\Program Files\Caresoft\php\php.exe\" \"C:\Program Files\Caresoft\bin\rx-worker\" once" ^
       /SC MINUTE /MO 1 ^
       /RU SYSTEM ^
       /RL HIGHEST ^
       /F

Notes, each of which has a reason:

  /SC MINUTE /MO 1
Every minute. The scheduler decides what is actually due; this
just gives it a heartbeat. Overlapping runs are safe — the job
lock refuses the second one — so a slow backup cannot cause a
      pile-up.

  /RU SYSTEM
Runs whether or not anyone is logged in. A counter PC is often
left at the login screen overnight.

  /F
Replaces an existing task, so re-running the installer is safe.

Verify:

    schtasks /Query /TN "Caresoft Counter Worker" /V /FO LIST
    php bin\rx-worker status

The status output is what a partner should read before leaving a store.
Any job showing "never" under LAST OK has not worked once.
